Through the week ending June 11, 2022: The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Greene County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. For construction information and statewide information regarding road conditions, visit ODOT on the web at www.Ohgo.com.
INTERSTATE 675 CONSTRUCTIONI-675 Bridge Rehabilitation and Resurfacing Single-lane restrictions will be in effect in either direction between the Montgomery County line and North Fairfield Road from 8 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. the following day, with double-lane closures in effect from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day, and daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition, the following restrictions will be in effect:

Ohio-to-Erie Trail Resurfacing - Beginning at the Clark/Greene County line and continuing toward Xenia Station (Hill Street). Closure of the bike path, as well as spurs and connectors, with each closure beginning and ending at a crossroad. Restrictions will be in effect daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. during weekdays through early July.
S.R. 235 Bridge Rehabilitation - Over Mud Run and Mad River, between S.R. 4 in Montgomery County and Medway Road. Traffic is being maintained in the work zone. The entire project is scheduled for completion in June 2022.
S.R. 235, U.S. 35, U.S. 68 & I-675 Vegetation Clearing - At various location on all routes. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers as needed.
S.R. 235, S.R. 343, S.R. 734 & U.S. 42 Drainage/Washout Repairs - At various locations on all routes. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards, traffic cones and/or flaggers as needed.
U.S. 35 Shoulder Repair - At various locations between the Old U.S. 35 interchange and the Fayette County line. Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and/or traffic cones.
U.S. 35 Superstreet - Between Factory Road and Orchard Lane. Final paving and other operations are under way, and lane restrictions will be in place nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. through late June. Traffic will be maintained on the mainline with arrow boards and traffic cones as needed. All work is scheduled to be completed in mid-summer of 2022.
Jasper Road Paving began Tuesday, May 17, 2022
The Greene County Engineer’s Office announces that John R. Jurgensen Co. began paving Jasper Road between the Xenia Corporation Limit and SR 72 on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 and will last one week, weather and equipment permitting.
Jasper Road will be under construction between the hours of 6 am and 7 pm, Monday thru Saturday. Traffic will be maintained using flaggers. Travelers can expect delays and we encourage you to use alternative routes.
When traveling thru these areas, we ask that you please slow down and use caution as there are unmarked no passing zones. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during the resurfacing program and apologize for any inconvenience.
Jasper Road was originally scheduled for paving in 2021, but was rescheduled due to trucking and temperatures last fall.
The Greene County Engineer’s Office announces that AllTech Pro Services will be performing upgrades on the cell tower on Dayton Yellow Springs Road between Trebein Road and SR 235, starting Tuesday, May 10, 2022 and lasting two days, weather and equipment permitting.
Dayton Yellow Springs Road will remain open eastbound between Trebein Road and SR 235.
Dayton Yellow Springs Road will be closed westbound between SR 235 and Trebein Road and will be detoured using the following detour: SR 235, to SR 675 to Trebein Road. This closure is scheduled to begin around 9 am on Tuesday and will be an overnight closure.
When traveling thru these areas, we ask that you please slow down and use caution thru the construction zone. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during the cell tower upgrade and apologize for any inconvenience.
